The Vida DIRT.E K3 is a modular electric off-road bike for young riders.
Vida, Hero MotoCorp’s electric mobility brand, has introduced the DIRT.E K3, the first model in its new off-road DIRT.E series. It is available at an introductory price of ₹69,990 for the first 300 customers.
Designed for children aged 4-10 years, the electric motorcycle features a three-stage adjustable frame that grows with the rider, allowing seamless transition from Small to Medium to Large configurations using a single tool.
The DIRT.E K3 is powered by a 350 W (500 W peak) motor and a removable 360 Wh battery that charges fully in about three hours and delivers up to three hours of riding time. It offers three ride modes: Beginner (8 km/h), Amateur (16 km/h) and Pro (25 km/h).
There are strict parental controls available via the companion mobile app. Safety features include a hydraulic rear disc brake, magnetic lanyard kill switch, child-sized brake lever, impact-absorbing components and a sealed battery enclosure.
Developed at Hero Tech Centre Germany and the Centre of Innovation and Technology in Jaipur, the motorcycle will be manufactured at VIDA’s green facility in Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh. It has received the Red Dot Design Award 2025 and CES Innovation Award Honoree 2026 recognition.
Kausalya Nandakumar, Chief Business Officer - Emerging Mobility, Hero MotoCorp, claims that the K3 addresses the common issue of children quickly outgrowing their first bikes, offering a platform that evolves with them while encouraging responsible off-road exploration.
The bike is available in red, purple and white colour options. Retail will start from 15 January 2026 in Delhi, Bengaluru, Pune, Jaipur and Calicut.
