The VinFast VF6 has now become dearer by up to Rs ₹90,000, while the VF7 is pricier by up to ₹1.30 lakh, depending on the variant.
VinFast India has increased prices on the VF6 and VF7 electric SUVs, as the introductory period ended. The VinFast VF6 has now become dearer by up to Rs ₹90,000, while the VF7 is pricier by up to ₹1.30 lakh, depending on the variant. Both models were launched in September last year at competitive prices to take on the mid-size electric SUVs on sale. The VF6 and VF7 are locally assembled in India at VinFast’s manufacturing facility in Thoothukudi, Tamil Nadu.
The VinFast VF6 is available in three variants. The base Earth trim is now more expensive by ₹80,000, while the Wind and Wind Infinity variants are pricier by ₹90,000. The VF6 is the brand’s most accessible offering and is a rival to the Hyundai Creta Electric, MG Windsor, Tata Nexon EV, and the like. Power comes from the single motor tuned for 174 bhp and 250 Nm, and a 59.6 kWh battery pack with a claimed range of 468 km on a single charge. The top trim makes 201 bhp and 310 Nm, with a claimed range of 463 km.

The VF6 is loaded on the feature front with all-LED lighting, 18-inch alloy wheels, a 12.9-inch touchscreen infotainment display, a panoramic sunroof, ventilated front seats, Level 2 ADAS, and more. The VF6 range now starts from ₹17.29 lakh, going up to ₹19.19 lakh (ex-showroom).
On the other hand, the VinFast VF7 commands a premium of ₹1 lakh on the base Earth trim, followed by a ₹1.2 lakh increase on Wind, and ₹1.3 lakh hike on the top-spec Sky variants. The VF7 is a midsize electric SUV and rivals the Tata Harrier EV, Mahindra BE 6, BYD Atto 3, and more. The offering uses a 59.6 kWh battery pack on the lower trims with the motor tuned for 174 bhp and 250 Nm, and a claimed range of 438 km. The higher trims get a 70.8 kWh battery pack and a dual-motor setup with 349 bhp, 500 Nm, and all-wheel drive. The bigger battery translates to a claimed range of 510 km.
The VinFast VF7 packs all the features from the VF6, including the 12.9-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a head-up display, a panoramic sunroof, and more. It also adds an air purifier, dual-zone climate control, electrically adjustable driver’s seat, electrically operable tailgate, and more.
VinFast is planning to expand its lineup in India with two new options in 2026. This includes the VF3 electric SUV and the Limo Green seven-seater MPV. While the VF3 will be a rival to the MG Comet, the Limo Green is likely going to be the brand’s new flagship taking on the Kia Carens Clavis EV and Mahindra XEV 9S in India.
