Vivo V30 and V30 Pro With Zeiss Optics Launched in India

Vivo has launched its new V30 series smartphones - the V30 and V30 Pro in India. The new V30 series succeeds the popular V29 lineup and brings significant upgrades to cameras, performance and design. Most notably, the Vivo V30 Pro is the first V-series phone to feature Zeiss optics outside the flagship X-series models.

Vivo V30, V30 Pro Specifications

Both V30 and V30 Pro feature a 6.78-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and claim to offer 2800 nits peak brightness levels.

The regular V30 is powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset, along with up to 12GB RAM and 256GB storage. It sports a triple rear camera setup comprising a 50MP primary sensor, 50MP ultra-wide lens and 2MP depth sensor. The selfies are handled by a 50MP front camera.

The more premium V30 Pro is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8200 chip. It features a triple rear camera system with a 50MP primary camera with OIS that uses a Sony IMX920 sensor, a 50MP ultra-wide camera, and a 50MP telephoto lens with Zeiss optics and 2x optical zoom. It also has a 50MP front camera.

The new V30 series phones run on Android 14-based Funtouch OS and promise two years of Android updates and three years of security patches. Other key features include an in-display fingerprint scanner, a 5,000mAh battery with 80W fast charging and IP54 dust and water resistance.

Vivo V30, V30 Pro Pricing & Availability

Vivo has priced the V30 quite competitively at Rs 33,999 for the 8GB/128GB model, Rs 35,999 for the 256GB storage option and Rs 37,999 for the 12GB/256GB model.

The V30 Pro is priced starting at Rs 41,999 for the 8GB/256GB variant and Rs 46,999 for the 12GB/512GB variant. The pre-bookings have commenced today, with the sale beginning on March 14 through offline and online channels.
