The Volvo C40 Recharge was launched in India at Rs. 61.25 lakh
Volvo recently launched its second all electric car - the C40 Recharge - in the country and it had said at the time of launch that the deliveries of the car will begin in September itself. The company announced that the first 2 cars were delivered in Tamil Nadu and Kerala. The C40 Recharge was launched at Rs. 61.25 lakh (ex-showroom India) and takes on the likes of the Hyundai Ioniq 5 and the Kia EV6, not to forget, its own sibling, the XC40 Recharge.
Jyoti Malhotra, Managing Director, Volvo Car India, said, ““Deliveries of the first born electric C40 Recharge are important milestone in our journey towards becoming an all-electric company by 2030.The C40 Recharge is the second car which is being delivered under our ambitious Online Direct Sales model.”
The C40 Recharge is only sold online directly by the company. Customers can place orders online directly on the Volvo Car India website for a booking amount of Rs. 1 lakh
