Skoda Auto India recently relaunched the Superb sedan in India after a hiatus of around a year. The Superb was discontinued in April 2023 with the advent of the stricter BS6.2 emissions norms. While Skoda has revealed the fourth-gen Superb globally, India currently gets the facelifted third-gen Superb.
Priced at ₹54 lakh (ex-showroom, India), the Superb is a pricey affair. Its primary rival, the Toyota Camry hybrid, retails for ₹46.17 lakh (ex-showroom, India), which is nearly ₹8 lakh cheaper than the former. The Czech sedan is also more expensive than its other European counterparts. So, what other luxury cars can you buy for the price of the Superb?

Price: ₹33.43 - 51.44 lakh (ex-showroom, India)
Not exactly a luxury car, the Toyota Fortuner is a very popular model in the country given its robust build quality and go-anywhere ability. Even the top-spec GR Sport variant is slightly more affordable than the Superb. The Fortuner may be lacking in features, but it more than makes up for it with its rough-and-tough nature.

Audi’s most affordable SUV in India is significantly more affordable than the Superb. Like its stablemate from the Volkswagen Group, the Q3 also only gets petrol powertrain options.
