The upcoming Hero Destini 125 Xtec will look quite premium compared to the outgoing model.
Hero is working on introducing a new updated iteration of its 125 cc family scooter, the Destini 125 Xtec. Going by the initial images, the upcoming scooter promises to look more premium and polished than the existing model. Additionally, it will gain new colour options as well, as has been demonstrated in the leaked image which showcases the scooter in a new Pearl Black option.
Furthermore, subtle golden inserts around the front apron, side panels, mirror casings, headlight and tail light units further give it a nice touch of sophistication. This is further enhanced by the new dark chocolate brown-coloured single-piece seat, and footboard. The front apron design has also been subtly tweaked, especially around the section which integrates new sleek-looking turn indicators. All these changes have made the 2024 Hero Destini look more premium and one can’t deny the fact that the styling of the scooter is inspired by the Suzuki Access 125, the segment leader in the 125 cc scooter space.
Beyond that, the scooter is expected to remain the same largely. So, the upcoming Hero Destini 125 Xtec will likely be powered by the same air-cooled, 124.5 cc, single-cylinder engine with the same 9 bhp/ 10.4 Nm tune. However, Hero seems to have kitted the new Destini 125 with 12-inch alloy wheels at both ends for better overall stability. Expect the suspension tune to also get a minor tweak given the design and wheel changes. On the features front, the new Hero 125 cc scooter might feature a fully digital instrument console with Bluetooth connectivity.
The current Hero Destini 125 Xtec will set you back by ₹86,538 (ex-showroom, Delhi). Given the updates that it will be introduced with, we can expect the price to increase by ₹3,000-5,000. The exact details of which we will learn at the time of launch, which is expected to happen by the first week of July.
