Royal Enfield Bullet 650 Spotted In Production-Guise

Royal Enfield is gearing up to expand its 650cc motorcycle range, with the Bullet 650 recently spotted in production-ready form alongside a Guerrilla 450 test mule. This sighting comes as the company prepares to launch the Guerrilla 450 on July 17th.

The Bullet 650 appears to be nearing its final stages of development, joining a growing lineup of 650cc models from Royal Enfield. Other models in various stages of testing include the Interceptor Bear 650 (also known as Scram 650) and the Classic 650, which may be officially named the Classic 650 Twin based on recent trademark filings.

Visually, the Bullet 650 shares many similarities with the Classic 650, mirroring the relationship between their 350cc siblings. Key differences include a more retro-styled rear mudguard on the Bullet 650 and a single-piece seat, contrasting with the Classic 650's split seat setup.

Both models are expected to feature round headlight, teardrop fuel tank, dual pea-shooter exhausts, and elements borrowed from the Super Meteor 650, such as the main frame and side body panels. The upcoming Royal Enfield 650 cc motorcycles will be positioned between the current 650 Twins and the higher-end Shotgun 650 and Super Meteor 650 in the company's lineup.

The Bullet 650 will use the same 648cc parallel-twin engine found in other Royal Enfield 650 models, producing 47 bhp and 52 Nm of torque. This oil-cooled engine comes paired with a 6-speed gearbox and a slipper clutch.

While sharing many components, the Bullet 650 and Classic 650 may differ in engine tuning, suspension characteristics, and feature sets. The Classic 650 could potentially offer more advanced features as standard, such as the Tripper navigation system.

Pricing for the Bullet 650 is expected to be more accessible than the Super Meteor 650, as Royal Enfield aims to offer a diverse range of options in the 500 cc+ segment, where it currently holds a dominant market share of around 90 per cent.
