Yamaha Aerox 155 Version S Launched In India

Yamaha introduced a new variant of its most powerful scooter on sale in India, called the Aerox 155 Version S. The new Yamaha Aerox 155 gets a smart key that Yamaha claims in improving the safety of the scooter while adding convenience. The Yamaha Aerox 155 Version S is priced at ₹ 1,50,600 (ex-showroom, Delhi) and will be exclusively available only at Blue Square showrooms in two colour shades - Silver & Racing Blue.

Via the new smart key, the rider can locate the scooter by activating its turn indicators and buzzer, and start the scooter without using the key as the Version S gets keyless ignition. 

On the safety front, the Yamaha performance scooter features an engine immobiliser thereby reducing the chances of theft.  

Apart from the smart key, there are no cosmetic or mechanical updates made on the Yamaha Aerox 155 Version S. The Yamaha Aerox 155 is among the most powerful scooters to ever go on sale in India as its 155cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine delivers 15 bjp and 13.9 Nm. In terms of technology, the Yamaha scooter gets goodies such as VVA (Variable Valve Actuation), traction control, ABS and 4 valves.
