Siddharth along with his team members have made the ACKO Drive Awards an honest endeavour to not just recognise the best products and people from the auto industry, but also an effort to set new benchmarks for transparency, credibility and relevance.The TOTMs (The One That Matters) are announced after a stringent Jury meet which is held on the Buddh International Circuit in Greater Noida and is spread across 2 days – 1 for two-wheelers and the other for cars. Last year close to 45 cars and 25 two-wheelers were present at the Jury meet.The Jury is comprised of stalwarts from the auto industry like V Sumantran, Racer and Mentor Rayomand Banajee, Endurance Biker Aishwarya Pissay and also actor, producer, Gul Panag among others.There is also a Marketing and Communications Jury meet that is held separately and is a first in the industry which honours the work done, throughout the year by the company’s teams.The first and second edition of the ACKO Drive Awards were graced by the big-wigs from the automotive industry who include CEOs like Mr. Pawan Munjal, Rajesh Jejurikar, Tae-Jin Park among othersBesides credible content, ACKO Drive also promises to give the best prices on cars in the market. Guidelines and Eligibility Criteria

  1. Car/ Two-wheeler of the year: The product has to be made in India and sold across two regions or more. Minimum threshold sales volume is 3000 units.
  2. Car of the year nominees price cut off is Rs. 40 lakhs
  3. Two-wheelers bike of the year price cut off is Rs. 5 lakhs
  4. In the case of a Jury deadlock, the Chairman has the breaking vote
  5. Sub-categories decided in conjunction
  6. Winners of the category will go into the ballot of car of the year, two- wheeler of the year, effectively
  7. The Ballot is a secret ballot, and the results are declared only at the ceremony with the closed envelope handed over to the anchor
  8. This is the same procedure used for the World Car of The Year
  9. The products are not judged as favourite, but the voting takes place across several categories

Terms & Conditions

The contest for participants / voters of the 2024 Viewers Choice Awards (“Contest”) is organized by ACKO Technology and Services Private Limited (“ACKO Drive”) and participation in this Contest is purely voluntary.Eligibility Criteria for Vehicles.
  1. Two and four wheelers launched between January 2024 to December 2024
  2. Cars priced under Rs. 25 Lakh, with 3,000 units sale a month, selling in more than 1 region
  3. All Vehicles manufactured locally (CKD and CBU are not eligible)
  4. Two-wheelers costing up to Rs. 3 Lakh, with 3000 units sale a month, selling in more than 1 region
  5. All Two-wheelers and four-wheelers have to be locally manufactured in India
  6. Nominees for Tech have been chosen by the Jury members
Eligibility Criteria For Participants.
  1. The participant has to be an Indian Citizen
  2. Age of the participant has to be over 18 years
  3. Participants can vote from multiple gadgets
  4. Participants or relatives of participants in any way associated to the winning brand will not be eligible for the prize
  5. Gift tax will need to be paid by the winning participants
  6. Respective OEMs will only cover the ex-showroom price of the vehicle that is given to the winners Rules Of Participation
Rules Of Participation
  1. Participants can vote for the four-wheeler, two-wheeler, Tech of their choice from the list provided on the ACKO Drive website. By participating in this Contest, each participant agrees that he/she has read and understood these T&Cs and by their participation in the contest, each participant agrees to be bound by the T&Cs. By participating in this Contest, the participants also agree and confirm that they are legally eligible to participate in this Contest and are of such legally permissible age.
  2. The winners will be chosen by the ACKO Drive Team, randomly, from amongst the entries received.
  3. The nominees for the Viewers’ Choice category are subject to the Car/two-wheeler manufacturers agreeing to provide the said vehicles to the winner.
  4. The prize for the winning Participants will be the car/motorcycle/scooter that receive maximum votes.
  5. The discretion of shortlisting the winners lies solely with ACKO Drive and it cannot be challenged under any circumstance. The decision of ACKO Drive in this matter will be final and binding and no questions, correspondence, enquiries, etc. on the manner of the selection and the Contest itself from any party whatsoever will be entertained.
  6. The winner with the maximum voting shall be declared on the ACKO Drive awards show. The details of the prize disbursement shall be separately intimated to the winner either through a phone call or email. ACKO Drive holds the right to publish the participant's names or use their posts and videos for its promotional activities through any medium/channel. The participant agrees that ACKO Drive shall not be under any obligation‘ under any circumstances‘ to pay to the participant any money towards the usage of the posts and videos shared by the participant.
  7. An online entry will be considered only when it reaches the ACKO Drive system (not when it was sent by the Participant). ACKO Drive shall not be liable to consider any entry which has not been received in the ACKO Drive system. No claims or objections shall be entertained in this regard.
  8. Participants are required to fill in their details on the voting page on which they can be subsequently contacted. ACKO Drive reserves the right to exchange, share or provide the information relating to your personal details and information with other group companies of ACKO Drive or statutory bodies as and when required.
  9. ACKO Drive may use third-party service providers that provide hosting, data storage and other services pursuant to standard terms and conditions that are generally non-negotiable. ACKO Drive may be unable to impose contractual obligations on them with respect to the measures they use to protect Personal Information. ACKO Drive shall not be responsible for the data security measures of any third parties.
  10. Any information that we collect from you/participant may be used for a variety of purposes including but not limited to the following:
    1. To improve our customer service.
    2. To send periodic emails that we believe may be of interest to you, unless you expressly choose to opt out of it.
    3. To conduct statistical analysis, quality assessment, audits, developing new products, identifying usage trends and determining the effectiveness of our promotional campaigns.
    4. To comply with applicable laws and legal processes.
    5. To respond to requests from public or government authorities
    6. To protect our rights, privacy, safety or property, or that of our affiliates, service providers, you or others
    7. To allow us to pursue available remedies or limit the damages that we may sustain
  11. ACKO Drive does not encourage and is not responsible for the misuse of any content. Copyrighted, obscene, provocative, questionable content or otherwise objectionable content will not be considered. ACKO Drive retains the right to remove all such objectionable content at its sole discretion without any intimation to the participant. ACKO Drive retains sole discretion as to what constitutes inappropriate content.
  12. Taxes and levies on the winnings as imposed by Central, State and Local government authorities including Gift Tax/Registration/Insurance will need to be paid by the winners and they are fully responsible in this regard for the same. The Contest Winner shall receive the prize only after all amount related to the taxes and levies have been settled.
  13. Participants acknowledge that the prize is sponsored and agree that ACKO Drive will not be responsible for the same. ACKO Drive accepts no responsibility for the quality of the prize. In case of any problems with the prize the winner will need to contact the manufacturer directly for the same.
  14. The winner will also be required to send (by post or email) copies of the following documents to ACKO
    Drive(Identification documents) before being entitled to receive the signed photographs
    1. Identity Proof (Driving License/Passport/Ration Card/PAN Card/Voters ID Card etc.)
    2. Current Address Proof (same as for Identity Proof)
    3. Copy of PAN
  15. The above list is indicative and ACKO Drive may require any winner to produce any other document at its discretion in order to confirm his / her identity before the prize is disbursed. The mode and mechanism of the prize disbursal will be communicated to the winner by ACKO Drive. 15. Mere participation in the Contest does not entitle you to win a prize.
  16. ACKO Drive & its subsidiaries/group companies reserve the right to cancel / postpone /stop this Contest at its discretion or change all or any part of terms and conditions that are applicable, without giving prior intimation of any kind and being liable for any consequential losses/damages. ACKO reserves the right to withdraw the Contest and/or change, amend, extend, and/or alter any of the terms & conditions of this Contest, without any reason and at any time, without prior notice and without any liability whatsoever for the same.
  17. Nothing here in amounts to a commitment or representation by ACKO Drive to conduct further or other schemes/contest. Prizes are non-transferable & ACKO Drive reserves the right to modify/withdraw the prizes, with/without any prior notice.
  18. Comments of winners or materials sent to ACKO Drive including feedback and other communications of any kind shall be deemed to be non-confidential. ACKO Drive is free to reproduce, distribute and publicly display such feedback and contest entries without limitations or obligation of any kind. ACKO Drive is also free to use any ideas, concepts, know-how or techniques contained in such feedback for any purpose. ACKO Drive reserves the right to analyze and summarize data that we collect and also reserves the right to publish, distribute, share summaries of the data collected with sponsors or other business partners without limitations or obligations of any kind.
  19. Participants agree and confirm that they will not make any claim against ACKO with regard to matters connected with this Contest. Participants expressly waive any and all rights of claim against ACKO Drive with regard to the Contest, prize, or the T&Cs hereof. Further, ACKO Drive shall not be liable for any losses, damages, taxes, liabilities or inconvenience suffered by any participant as a result of these terms and conditions, entering into this Contest or accepting any part of the prize. Further, participants will hold ACKO Drive harmless against any loss, damage, taxes, liabilities suffered by ACKO Drive due to a participant’s participation in this Contest or accepting any part of the prize
  20. It is the sole responsibility of the participants to ensure that they are entitled to participate in this contest as per the applicable law. Incomplete information provided or failure to provide true and accurate information, failure to submit proof of identification and/or original confirmation number will automatically disqualify a participant. ACKO Drive shall have the absolute and sole discretion to determine whether any participant should be disqualified by reason of failure to abide by these terms and conditions, bad faith, fraud or any other reason which it may determine.
  21. We are fully committed to following laws related to the collection of data and to our carefully considered policy on data collection. You are required to give us the correct details about yourself and ACKO Drive will not be liable for any damages direct or indirect for any wrong addresses submitted.
  22. This Contest is subject to force majeure circumstances including without limitation, floods, natural disasters, war, act of terror, political unrests, technical snags, act of God or any circumstance beyond the reasonable control of ("Force Majeure Event"). ACKO Drive shall be not liable for any delay or adverse effect caused to the participants in the Contest including the winners as a result of a Force Majeure Event.
  23. ACKO Drive will not be responsible and liable for acceptability, suitability, delivery, service, defects, deficiency, performance or quality of the services /products/prize provided under the Contest.
  24. This contest is subject to the applicable rules and regulations as may be in force in India.
  25. The decision of ACKO Drive and / or its representatives, employees, directors, officers or agents with respect to the contest, any matter related thereto including the choice of questions or the manner of choosing of winners will be final and binding on all participants and no questions, correspondence, enquiries, etc. on the manner of conduct of the contest from any party whatsoever will be entertained.
  26. To the extent permitted by law, ACKO Drive or its representatives, employees, directors, officers or agents, shall not be liable for any loss suffered or sustained, to person or property including, but not limited to, consequential (including economic) loss by reason of any act or omission, deliberate or negligent on the part of ACKO Drive or its representatives, employees, directors, officers or agents.
  27. In no event shall ACKO Drive liability for any claim made by any participant for any reason exceed Rs. 100/-.
  28. These terms and conditions shall be governed by & construed in accordance with the applicable laws in India. Any dispute including any dispute arising out of all matters with respect to the contest are subject to the jurisdiction of the Courts at Bangalore only.
