Renault Triber Safety Rating
Renault Triber scores four stars for adult occupants and three stars for a child occupant in the 2021 GNCAP assessment. However, with the new assessment rules set by GNCAP, the test score of Renault Triber in the Africa crash test 2024 was disappointing.
The Renault Triber scores only two stars for adult and child occupants. The crash assessment report shows that the head and neck of both the driver and the passenger were properly protected. However, the chest region was prone to injury as there was little protection from side impact. The car does not have a side airbag, nor does the Electronic Stability Control(ESC) reach industry standard.
Additionally, the ISOFIX anchorages were poorly fixed. Moreover, the head, neck and chest of the child were poorly protected in the forward crash. The biggest concern is the lack of airbags for the drivers and the passengers.
Occupant | Safety Rating | Protection Score |
Child | 2 stars | 19.99/49 |
Adult | 2 stars | 22.29/34 |

Conclusion
The Renault Triber has great safety features at a glance, but through the GNCAP test, you can confirm some features are not up to standard. But some features also work perfectly. We can only hope that the safety features of the Renault Triber will get upgraded with this GNCAP safety rating.
