As of July 2025, the ex-showroom price of the Tesla Model Y Rear-Wheel Drive is about ₹59,89,000, and the Long Range RWD is ₹67,89,000. These prices place the SUV in the premium EV segment of India.

Optional Features of the Tesla Model Y
The new Tesla Model Y primarily have four optional features, which are car variants, exterior paint options, interior finish, and full self-driving capabilities. All of them are discussed below:
1. Exterior Paints
To match your personality and make your presence felt, this SUV offers you six vibrant colour options. These are Stealth Grey, Pearl White Multi-Coat, Diamond Black, Glacier Blue, Quicksilver, and Ultra Red. But, apart from Stealth Grey, all the other colours will come at additional prices, which are shown in the table below:

If you choose the all-black interior included in the base model, your Tesla Model Y will have a clean, sharp, and sporty look. It feels sleek and focused, and the darker tone creates an immersive driving experience.
If you are looking for something with a bit more flair, you can choose the black-and-white interior add-on. This will cost you about an additional ₹95,000, but it gives your cabin a bold and upscale feel.
3. Full Self-Driving Capability
This is one of the best futuristic Tesla Model Y optional features you can get in this SUV. This add-on works like a charm, helping you with lane changes, driving on curvy roads, stopping when pedestrians come in front of you, keeping you focused on stop signs, and more.
To get the Full Self-Driving feature, you have to spend about ₹6,00,000 more on both Real-Wheel Drive and Long-Range RWD variants.
However, this feature requires active driver supervision and does not make this particular SUV completely autonomous. In addition, this feature is not active in India due to clearance from the concerned regulatory authorities. However, it could be activated in future software updates.
