The Toyota Rumion is an MPV (Multi-Purpose Vehicle) based on the Maruti Suzuki Ertiga. The Rumion is the result of the joint venture between Toyota and Maruti Suzuki. The overall design of the Rumion is reminiscent of the Ertiga, except for a few subtle changes to the exterior design. The interior and seating arrangement also remains largely unchanged when compared to the Ertiga.

The Toyota Rumion is available with a 1.5-litre petrol engine with the option of a 5-speed manual or 6-speed automatic transmission. The MPV is also available in CNG guise with manual transmission. The MPV also comes with a host of creature comfort and safety features. The interior space is ample to seat 7 occupants. The Toyota Rumion features a similar exterior design as the Maruti Suzuki Ertiga. However, Toyota has made enough changes to easily distinguish it from its Maruti sibling. The side profile of the Rumion is almost identical to the Ertiga. The side profile features strong character lines running across the profile. It also features the floating roof effect, thanks to the blacked-out treatment on the D-pillar. The MPV also gets stylish dual-tone alloy wheels.
