The exteriors feature a covered front BEV grille flanked by Pixel technology headlights. A 12.3-inch driver information display with advanced graphics and resolution comes in two display modes, Calm and Navi, and offers all necessary information. The infotainment centre is a single vertical 9-inch centre display with touch controls. It is Google-integrated and is an Android-powered infotainment system. It supports voice commands such as ‘Hey Google’, Google Maps navigation, Over the Air in-car software updates, and Volvo Cars app services. Volvo XC40 Recharge Battery Capacity

The Volvo XC40 Recharge has two battery pack options. The XC40 Recharge E60 Plus has a smaller 69-kWh Lithium-Ion P8 battery. Its maximum power is 237.99 bhp, and its maximum torque is 420 Nm. The 150 kW DC charging time is 28 minutes. There is also a 15 A Wall Box charger available. An 11kW onboard AC charger will charge the battery from 0 to 100% in 8 to 10 hours. 

The top model, XC40 Recharge E80 Ultimate, has a 78-kWh Lithium-Ion P8 battery. It generates a maximum power of 413.65 bhp and a maximum torque of 660 Nm. The charging options are the same for this variant.

Both variants of the Volvo XC40 Recharge have a single-speed automatic transmission. There are no gear changes; the only options are Drive, Neutral, and Reverse.
