This is the second facelift for the second-gen Q7, which was introduced globally earlier this year.
Audi India has announced that the updated Q7 will launch in India on November 28, 2024. This is the second update for the second-gen Audi Q7, which was introduced globally earlier this year. The second facelift of the Q7 comes with updated styling, some new features and no changes to the powertrains.
The updated Q7 will get new Matrix LED headlamps, new LED taillamps, redesigned bumpers and revised air intakes. It will also get new designs for the alloy wheels and also come with new exterior colours like Ascari Blue, Sakhir Gold and Chili Red. It remains to be seen which of these will make its way to the India-spec model.
Inside, the Q7’s cabin remains largely unchanged. The infotainment touchscreen now allows users to download third-party apps. The virtual cockpit instrument cluster shows more driver-assist functions like lane-change warnings, distance alerts and more. The cabin also gets three trim options – gold, blue and red – but what will come to India remains to be seen.
Mechanically, the Q7 remains largely unchanged. It still gets the same 3.0-litre turbo-petrol V6 engine churning out 335 bhp and 500 Nm, mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission sending power to all four wheels. Globally, the Q7 also comes with a diesel and more powerful V8 turbo-petrol engine than the SQ7. However, these two powertrains are unlikely to come to India.
