The 2024 year update comes with the addition of tech, improved safety systems and a more sophisticated suspension.
Bajaj is all set to launch the 2024 iteration of its popular Pulsar N250 motorcycle tomorrow. This update promises to be a significant one, bringing a wave of new features to the table. Here's a closer look at what riders can expect:
One of the most significant changes for the 2024 Pulsar N250 is the addition of an upside-down (USD) fork. The unit is expected to be borrowed from the NS200, with revised internal tuning to suit the 250, and offer a significant improvement in handling.
Bajaj is expected to prioritise rider safety with the 2024 Pulsar N250 by equipping it with traction control and ABS modes. While it is expected that the traction control system is likely to be a rudimentary option, we think it will allow the rider to switch it on or off. This will offer a valuable safety net for riders, especially new riders who might encounter a sudden change in road conditions on their ride. The dual-channel ABS system will now have modes for controlling its sensitivity in wet and dry terrain.
The 2024 Pulsar N250 will get a major tech upgrade with a new, fully-digital instrument cluster. This unit is likely to be similar to the one seen on the Pulsar N160 and N150, offering a clear and comprehensive display of vital information. Bluetooth connectivity will allow riders to pair their smartphones with the motorcycle using the Bajaj Ride Connect app. A new switchgear on the left handlebar will allow riders to easily cycle through the various information on the display.
The 2024 Pulsar N250 is expected to be updated with new colour schemes and graphics. Rumours suggest a striking matte colour option might be on the cards, potentially paired with contrasting pinstripes on the alloy wheels. A red and white combo is seen in the teaser that has dropped today. This visual refresh is likely aimed at keeping the design fresh and appealing to a younger rider demographic.
The current Bajaj Pulsar N250 starts at ₹ 1,49,978 (ex-showroom Delhi). The addition of these new features, particularly the USD fork, safety tech and digital instrument cluster, will likely translate to a slight price increase. While official pricing details will be revealed at launch, we think that there might be a hike of around ₹7,000 to ₹10,000.
