This fully customised R 1300 R has been quite exhaustively re-engineered for the purpose of drag and sprint racing only.
In just a few months of production, the 2025 BMW R 1300 R has undergone its most radical transition already called the BMW R 1300 R Titan. This one-off custom build was designed by a bunch of BMW employees with just one purpose in mind – win drag and sprint races.

While the BMW R 1300 R Titan is built around the same chassis as the standard R 1300 R, the swingarm had to be extended, though. And in order to do so, BMW had got a special monocoque chassis developed by Wilbers. Additionally, the bike had to sit lower to the ground and that was achieved by lowering the suspension. This aggressive, hunkered down ergonomics is further aided by equipping a new low clip-on handlebars. Plus the rear-set footpegs have been repositioned, and it is now placed further rear right at the end of the aluminium swingarm here. As a result, the entire weight of the rider is now focused at the front, which will help pin the bike at the front during high-speed acceleration.

Interestingly, the BMW has not tinkered with the 145 bhp-strong 1,300 cc boxer engine on the R 1300 R Titan. Instead, BMW has installed a massive can of nitrous oxide in between the two Akrapovic-sourced titanium exhaust systems. Need For Speed, anyone? Even the fuel tank is sized the same at 18.9-litre.

Lastly, the bespoke graphic design visible on the fuel tank and the small side panels complements this aggressive-looking R 1300 R and further amplifies the bike’s exclusive quotient. While images of the new BMW R 1300 R TITAN have just been showcased, we expect BMW to showcase the bike in all its glory at the upcoming EICMA 2025.
