With small updates, Jawa is slowly making this motorcycle a better value proposition.
In an attempt to keep the Jawa 350 fresh, the company has updated it for 2024. While the update has been explained in detail on our website and you can read about it here, here's a look at the top 5 features that make this motorcycle a compelling choice for riders.
The 2024 Jawa 350 gets a range of new colour options. There are three new solid colours - Obsidian Black, Deep Forest, and Grey. These paint schemes give the motorcycle a stealthy look, complementing its classic design. For those who prefer a chrome aesthetic, there's also a new white colour available in the Chrome Dual Tone variant. With these additions, the Jawa 350 now has a total of seven colour options, including the earlier dual-tone chrome ones - Black, Mystique Orange, and Maroon.
A major upgrade for 2024 is the introduction of alloy wheels. This addresses a common concern - punctures. The alloy wheels come at an additional ₹ 10,000 compared to the spoke wheel version. However, the rest of the suspension and braking setup remains unchanged. There is no clarity if it is retrocompatible with the current models or even if it is sold separately.
The heart of the 2024 Jawa 350 remains the same 334 cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine. This motor delivers 22 bhp and 28.2 Nm. It is paired with a smooth-shifting six-speed gearbox with a slipper clutch. The engine has been recently given an update and you can understand all about it from our video below.
Jawa stays true to its heritage with a fully analogue instrument console and halogen headlamp. However, prioritising safety, the 2024 Jawa 350 comes equipped with a dual-channel ABS. Apart from that it does not get ride modes or ABS settings.
The starting price for the 2024 Jawa 350 with spoke wheels in the three new colours is ₹ 1.98 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). Opting for the alloy wheels adds ₹ 10,000 to the price, bringing it to ₹ 2.08 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). This keeps the Jawa 350 competitively priced against its rivals like the Royal Enfield Classic 350 and the Honda Hness CB350. You can see how this bike holds up against the Royal Enfield Classic 350 in our video below.
