Apart from new colours, these bikes remain the same for 2025
For 2025, Kawasaki has updated both the Ninja ZX-10R and ZX-6R with a focus on fresh aesthetics. The ZX-10R receives a single new colour scheme, while the Ninja ZX-6R gets two new standard colour options and a new KRT Edition livery.
The Kawasaki ZX-10R comes in two colour options - a standard Metallic Flat Spark Black with Ebony and a flashier Kawasaki Racing Team (KRT) Edition with Lime Green, Ebony and Pearl Blizzard White. The KRT edition has the usual colours but the decals are new giving it a nice fresh look with a bit of retro hint.
Powering the Kawasaki ZX-10R is a 998cc, inline-four-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that produces 200.21 bhp and 114.9 Nm of peak torque. This engine is paired with a six-speed gearbox that benefits from a bi-directional quick-shifter.
The Kawasaki ZX-10R is equipped with high-performance suspension components. The front suspension features Showa Balance Free Front Fork (BFF) 43mm USD fork with complete adjustability for preload, compression, and rebound damping. The rear suspension uses a fully adjustable Showa gas-charged shock absorber. Braking is handled by Brembo callipers with dual 330mm discs in the front and a single 220mm disc at the rear. The Kawasaki ZX-10R rolls on lightweight Marchesini wheels shod with high-performance Pirelli Diablo Supercorsa tyres.
On the 2024 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R, the standard variant gets two new options - Pearl Robotic White/Metallic Graphite Gray and Metallic Matte Dark Gray/Ebony. There's also a new KRT Edition with the Kawasaki racing team livery in Lime Green, Ebony and Pearl Blizzard White. The Pearl Robotic White is a bright and clean white that gives the bike a lightweight and sleek appearance. The Metallic Graphite Gray adds a touch of contrast and sophistication and complements the sharp lines of the Kawasaki ZX-6R's bodywork. The Lime Green is the Kawasaki racing team's signature colour, and it is sure to turn heads on the track or the street. The Ebony accents provide a grounding effect, while the Pearl Blizzard White adds a touch of sophistication.
Mechanically, the Kawasaki Ninja ZX-6R retains its 636cc, inline-four cylinder engine that churns out 129hp at 13,000rpm and 69 Nm of peak torque at 11,000rpm with ram air intake. The engine is paired with a six-speed gearbox. The Kawasaki ZX-6R also has Showa suspension which has a 41mm telescopic fork at the front and a gas-charged shock absorber at the rear. It gets Nissin callipers with dual 310mm discs doing braking duty up front a single 220mm disc at the rear, and Dunlop GPR300 tyres.
While both the Kawasaki ZX-10R and ZX-6R have been launched internationally, there is no official word on their arrival in India. The 2024 Kawasaki ZX-10R is priced at ₹ 16.79 lakh (ex-showroom) and we expect the 2025 model to be priced similarly. The Kawasaki ZX-6R is currently available in India for ₹ 11.20 lakh (ex-showroom) and it remains to be seen if the new colours or the KRT Edition will make it to our shores.
