Royal Enfield set to update its most popular bike
The Royal Enfield Classic 350 was among the initial motorcycles to adopt the brand's new J-platform which improved the motorcycle significantly in terms of refinement and performance. However, since that initial update, the RE Classic 350 has remained largely unchanged, leaving a void for enthusiasts seeking a more contemporary interpretation of the iconic roadster. This long-awaited refresh is finally set to materialise on Monday, August 12, 2024, as Royal Enfield introduces an updated Classic 350. It promises to rejuvenate the model while preserving its timeless appeal.
The upcoming update for the Royal Enfield Classic 350 is expected to focus primarily on enhancing the motorcycle’s visual appeal and overall rider experience. While the iconic silhouette and character of the Classic 350 will be retained, Royal Enfield is poised to introduce several refinements. A fresh coat of paint with new colour options is anticipated, adding a modern touch to the classic design. The motorcycle's ergonomics might also be tweaked with a revised seat profile for improved comfort.

The most significant change on the 2024 Royal Enfield Classic 350, however, is expected to be the adoption of full LED lighting. This includes a new LED headlamp, tail lamp, and turn indicators, not only enhancing visibility but also giving the RE Classic 350 more reliability. To maintain the core appeal of the motorcycle, Royal Enfield is likely to leave the mechanical underpinnings unchanged. The proven 349cc, air-cooled engine making 20.2 bhp and 27 Nm and the reliable chassis will be carried over. It will ensure the Classic 350's distinctive riding character remains intact. The existing semi-digital instrument console, paired with the Tripper navigation pod, is also expected to be retained.

Royal Enfield is likely to continue offering the new Classic 350 in multiple variants, including a more affordable option equipped with a rear drum brake, catering to a wider range of customers. It's expected that Royal Enfield will retain the existing price (₹ 1.93 lakh ) of the Classic 350 range or there could be a minor bump in price.
