Reports suggest that the upcoming model might look sportier than the current model and feature a new design.
TVS is reportedly working on an updated version of the Jupiter 110 and it might launch by the end of this year. Currently, in its testing phase, this upcoming scooter is slated to receive aesthetic updates and in the process might see an entirely new body design and might make the scooter look sportier than the current model. Additionally, TVS might also introduce new colour options, and we’re expecting some new funky options to be included in the mix as well.
Beyond that, the upcoming Jupiter 110 is expected to remain mechanically the same. Thereby, it’ll continue to be powered by the same 7.7 bhp/ 8.8 Nm, 109.7 cc, air-cooled, single-cylinder engine. The hardware components will also be carried over as it is thereby it’ll be suspended by telescopic fork and a monoshock, and braking duties will be taken care of by drum brakes as is the case now.
Feature-wise, there are talks that TVS might equip the upcoming Jupiter 110 with LED lighting On the features front we could see the 2024 Jupiter come equipped with a fully digital console and it could also be a TFT unit. At the time of its debut, the TVS Jupiter brought along many segment-first features and we expect the trend to be carried forward with the upcoming new TVS scooter.
All in all, these updates have been long due for the TVS Jupiter 110 which has looked the same since it was first launched. Its direct rival, the Honda Activa 6G was given a major makeover a few years back. All the reasons why, this update will be crucial for TVS as the Jupiter is its most popular scooter offering for sales.
