The Grecale fended off competition from the Mercedes-AMG GLC 43 4Matic and Porsche Macan.
Demand for luxury cars and for SUVs has been on the rise and many manufacturers are aiming for the top spot in that space. Maserati, a very premium and well-sought-after brand, made itself more affordable by offering the Grecale. It is the smallest model offered by the Italian manufacturer and while it may be small in size, it’s big in what it offers. So much so, that it was crowned the Luxury Compact SUV of the Year at the 2025 Acko Drive Awards.
The Grecale fended off competition from the likes of the Mercedes-AMG GLC 43 4Matic Coupe and the Porsche Macan. What impressed the most about the Grecale is how it delivers power and handles, while also being a comfortable cruiser. The Grecale is also the only one that offers multiple powertrain options compared to the other two models in the category.
Maserati’s smallest model comes with either a 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engine (in two states of tune) as well as a 3.0-litre twin-turbo V6 engine that it shares with the MC20 supercar.
