Carrying forward the same tasty recipe from the new 2025 Panigale V4 without the fairing is Borgo-Panigale’s latest litre-class naked sport, the Streetfighter V4.
Barely weeks after Ducati gave the world its lightest V2 engine ever, and months after the 2025 Panigale V4 was showcased – Ducati has now given the world its most powerful naked sport ever – the Ducati Streetfighter V4.
Built on the same new V4 engine, lighter chassis with a double-sided swingarm that the Italians call Ducati Hollow Symmetrical Swingarm – the new Streetfighter V4 is also lighter, less stiff, and obviously, a heck lot faster than before. It is available in two variants – V4 and V4 S. Whereas, the only difference between the both lies in the suspension componentry and some features here and there. But common to both are its looks that will make you go weak on your knees.

For starters, the new sleek LED headlight clusters have been inspired by the new Pani. Just like the superbike, the 2025 Streetfighter V4 also gets those new winglets, called biplane wings. One pair is on the tank shrouds and the other pair is placed lower near the radiator shrouds. Ducati claims that these “planes” can produce up to 45 kg of downforce at 270 kmph, which makes it 17 kg more than what was available with the previous iteration.
Speaking of speed, the new Ducati Streetfighter V4 gets the same Euro-V compliant, 1,103 cc, Desmosedici Stradale V4 engine with a 90-degree crankshaft. This mill now produces 6 bhp more at 214 bhp and 120 Nm of wheelie-inducing peak torque is available at your disposal provided you can rev the bike up to 11,500 rpm. Ducati has made a few tweaks to the engine for a more even spread of the torque curve, to suit the streetfighter’s character. Coupled with the fact, that the new V4 tips the scale at just 189 kg, the 2025 Streetfighter V4 leaves little to the imagination of how fast it would be.
To extract the full spectrum of performance, the new Streetfighter V4 is available with a plethora of electronic rider aids. For starters, there’s four ride modes on offer — Race, Sport, Road, and Wet, in addition to four power modes – Full, High, Medium and Low. Furthermore, you also get engine brake control, wheelie control, slide control, and obviously, launch control. To make the bike a bit more easier to handle, Ducati has now also equipped eCBS which applies the rear brake a little bit automatically, when applying the front brake heavily. Controls to all these features are accessible via a new 6.9-inch TFT display now.
As we mentioned earlier, the Ducati Streetfighter V4 is available in two variants: V4 and V4 S. The former gets fully adjustable 43 mm Showa fork and Sachs monoshock – however, the adjustments have to be made manually. With the V4 S, Ducati has gone for a more premium, electronically adjustable, Ohlins Smart EC 3.0 43 mm NIX30 fork and a TTX36 monoshock. Besides this difference, both bikes continue to ride on 17-inch wheels, but the ones on the V4 S are 2.2 kg lighter. However, the Pirelli Diablo Rosso IV Corsa tyres are the same in both. Braking duties in both bikes are taken care of by Brembo’s latest Hypure axially-mounted callipers.
Ducati has just revealed the new Streetfighter V4. And since both the Panigale V4 and Streetfighter V4 are already sold in India, we can expect their respective 2025 iterations, to make their way to our shores as well. But when can we see them is something that will be confirmed by early 2025.
