Hero MotoCorp has sent out a teaser which mentions “India’s most futuristic commuter”. Apart from this text, no other details have been shared by Hero, but we think the teaser hints at a new, updated Glamour 125. The Hero Glamour was the most popular 125 cc offering from the brand, but over the past few years, it has struggled to find buyers as sales have fallen significantly. The 2025 Hero Glamour 125 is expected to undergo a styling revision and also get some really interesting features.
Last month, a test mule of the same was spotted, and it was surprising to see that it featured a cruise control, yes, cruise control on a commuter! If this is true, the new Hero Glamour would be the most affordable bike in the country to get this technology. It could be the most affordable ICE motorcycle in the world to get cruise control. Apart from this, the new Glamour 125 will also get a full digital instrument console with Bluetooth connectivity and turn-by-turn navigation. On the mechanical front, we don’t expect any changes, and it would be powered by the same 124 cc, single-cylinder engine, and the underpinnings would be similar too.

The company hasn’t shared any launch timeline, but we expect the 2025 Hero Glamour to go on sale by the end of this month. The new product will be a very important bike for Hero as it has been losing market share in the commuter space to its rival Honda. The Japanese brand dominates the 125 cc segment with the Honda Shine, and it has also recently introduced its most affordable commuter bike in the form of the Honda Shine 100 DX. For Hero MotoCorp, the Xtreme 125R has been performing exceedingly well, and the new Glamour should help boost sales in the ever-growing 125 cc segment.
