The Xiaomi Vision GT concept is set to make its official debut on March 2, at the Fira Gran Via exhibition centre in Barcelona.
Xiaomi will unveil its Vision Gran Turismo Concept car at the upcoming Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona, Spain. This was confirmed by the Chinese technology giant on its social media handles. Ahead of its debut, images of the Vision GT concept have leaked on the internet. This isn’t just another commuter car but a high-performance concept designed for the virtual racetracks of the Gran Turismo video game series.
The project is part of a special collaboration with Sony PlayStation and is set to appear in the long-running racing franchise Gran Turismo 7. With the project, Xiaomi can potentially gain access to millions of players and racing fans worldwide to show its electric vehicles alongside some of the most recognizable performance brands.
Spy photographs taken in Barcelona ahead of MWC 2026 reveal a heavily camouflaged vehicle with “XIAOMI” branding on the wheel faces. The body adopts an extremely low-slung stance, suggesting a mid-engine or central-cockpit layout. A large rear spoiler is visible beneath the wrap, along with carbon-fibre side skirts along both flanks.

A shark-fin structure — mandated on all WEC Hypercar-class race cars to enhance high-speed stability — appears on the roofline. However, this element is absent from the unofficial renderings that have gone viral recently and should be considered unconfirmed until the official reveal. That said, the light blue body wrap and the blue accents on the wheels visible in the spy shots are consistent.
Details regarding its specifications including battery, motor, aerodynamic dimensions, and downforce figures remain under the wraps. More details are expected to break out during the MWC 2026 that will run from March 2 to March 5.
