Jeep India has introduced a new Signature Edition of its flagship SUV, the Grand Cherokee, at a price of ₹69.04 lakh (ex-showroom). Launched in limited numbers, the Grand Cherokee Signature Edition brings a handful of cosmetic and feature upgrades while retaining the same mechanical setup.
While the Signature Edition does not feature any major design changes, Jeep has added motorised side steps to ease ingress and egress — a practical addition given the SUV’s tall stance. The variant also gets a front dashcam and rear entertainment screens mounted on the headrests of the front seats.
Cosmetically, the SUV retains Jeep’s familiar design language with the seven-slot grille, flanked by sleek LED headlamps and fog lights. The SUV continues to carry its boxy stance with 20-inch alloy wheels, chrome surrounds on the window line, and slim LED taillamps at the rear. Colour options remain unchanged and include Rocky Mountain, Velvet Red, Diamond Black, and Bright White.
Inside, the Grand Cherokee Signature Edition continues with the all-black interior theme and the same dashboard layout as the standard Limited (O) variant. It features a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a 10.25-inch fully digital instrument cluster, and a co-driver display of the same size.
The layout also includes physical buttons and rotary dials on the centre console for essential functions and drive mode selection, balancing digital sophistication with tactile control. Premium touches such as leather seats, multi-colour ambient lighting, and heated seats for both front and second-row passengers.
Apart from the new additions, the Signature Edition continues to offer a long list of features. These include a panoramic sunroof, 8-way power-adjustable and ventilated front seats with memory function for the driver, dual-zone climate control, wireless charging, powered tailgate, auto-dimming IRVM, and Android Auto/Apple CarPlay compatibility. Audio duties are handled by a 9-speaker Alpine sound system.
In terms of safety, the SUV remains well-equipped with eight airbags, electronic stability control (ESC), hill start assist, traction control, electronic parking brake with auto hold, tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS), a 360-degree camera, and Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS).
The Signature Edition retains the same powertrain as the standard model — a 2.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine that produces 268 bhp and 400 Nm of torque. It comes mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission, with all-wheel drive (AWD) offered as standard. Performance specifications remain unchanged.
The 2025 Jeep Grand Cherokee, including this new Signature Edition, continues to compete in the full-size premium SUV segment, where it faces stiff competition from models such as the Audi Q7, BMW X5, and Mercedes-Benz GLE.
