A new colour option and a price hike are some of the key highlights of the 2025 Ninja 500.
Kawasaki India is on an updating spree. After the 2025 Eliminator and 2025 Ninja 650 KRT edition, comes the 2025 Ninja 500, which has been launched at ₹5.29 lakh (ex-showroom, India). It is ₹5,000 more expensive than before. For that extra cost, Kawasaki has also introduced a new colour option called Matte Carbon Gray.
Mechanically, the 451 cc, parallel-twin engine should’ve been updated to comply with the latest OBD-2B emission norms. However, performance hasn’t altered, producing the same 44.77 bhp at 9,000 rpm and 42.6 Nm at 6,000 rpm. The engine comes mated to a 6-speed gearbox as standard with an assist-and-slip clutch as standard.
Beyond that, the rest of the bike has remained the same as before. Right from its design to its feature list to its foundations, nothing has changed. The Ninja 500 will continue to be the most expensive sport bike in its segment, significantly higher than the Aprilia RS 457. The Ninja will be the more comfortable bike of the two but the Aprilia is more rewarding, exciting and a world-class product that you would love to have in your garage.
