The addition of this new feature finally justifies the steep price hike meted out earlier this month.
KTM left a lot of young enthusiasts confused and a bit disappointed when it silently hiked the asking price of the RC 200 by a significant amount without any changes whatsoever. Or so it seemed. Over the past few days new details have started to pop up, wherein at first it was a new Metallic Grey colour option. And now the bike was spotted with the latest 5-inch TFT screen which debuted on the third-generation KTM 390 Duke.
With this new instrument console, the 2025 KTM RC 200 will finally gain some much-needed connectivity features like turn-by-turn navigation, music control, etc., all of which can be accessed via the MyKTM app. Plus, the switchgear will also have been updated to the newer panels seen on the 250s and 390s. Thus, the addition of this new console helps keep intact the RC 200's premium proposition.
Mechanically, the KTM RC 200 has remained the same wherein it is powered by a 199.5 cc single-cylinder mill churning out 24.5 bhp and 19.5 Nm, and mated to a 6-speed gearbox. There are no changes on the hardware front as well, equipping WP Apex suspension and the Bybre brakes. Similarly, design-wise the 2025 KTM RC 200 carries forward the same as well.
