However, the asking price of the electric scooter has remained the same as before.
Motohaus India's electric division, VLF, has rolled out an improved variant of its Tennis electric scooter across Indian markets. Following the model's debut in November 2024, the manufacturer has now added fresh colour choices whilst boosting battery performance and implementing various minor improvements. The scooter maintains its original price point of ₹1.30 lakh (ex-showroom, India).
The refreshed VLF Tennis now features an LMFP battery pack that provides 150 km of range— which is 20 km more than the earlier version. The new battery pack comes housed within an aluminium shell, offering enhanced safety protection and better thermal management. Additional convenience comes through a newly fitted mobile charging socket. VLF has expanded the colour lineup with two additional options: Slate Blue and Ebony Black. These join the existing Red and White finishes already available to customers.
The Tennis EV retains its original aesthetic approach, blending retro charm with contemporary design cues through clean, minimalist bodywork that remains visually appealing. Power comes from a 1.5kW hub-mounted motor that provides a maximum speed of 65kmph. Standard equipment includes three riding modes and a TFT display with smartphone integration capabilities. The scooter rides on 12-inch wheels and uses disc brakes front and rear. Suspension duties are handled by telescopic forks up front paired with a rear monoshock arrangement.
Currently, the VLF Tennis can be purchased through Motohaus dealerships located in seven Indian cities: New Delhi, Sangli, Bengaluru, Kolhapur, Goa, Ahmedabad, and Pune.
