From revised mechanicals to new styling, the Yezdi Roadster is set to receive its first major update since launch.
Yezdi motorcycles is all set to launch the updated iteration of the Roadster tomorrow. We had exclusively spotted the bike last month on test which gave us an idea of what could change, and here’s what we expect:
New Design
The tail section of the Yezdi Roadster will be revised for a more butch and muscular appeal. It will even sport a new taillight wherein it will borrow the same turn indicator-integrated tail light from the Adventure. Beyond that, the front section of the bike is also expected to look more premium and upmarket than before, partly due to a new LED headlight that it is expected to feature and was teased by Yezdi.
Alpha-II Series Engine
Just like how the Yezdi Adventure gained the updated 334 cc, liquid-cooled Alpha 2 series engine with gear-based mapping – the same is expected to make its way to the Yezdi Roadster as well. On the Adventure, this mill produces 29.6 bhp and 29.9 Nm. However, on the Roadster, this tuning is expected to change for a more laid back character. To know how these changes to the engine made the Adventure bike better, check out our first ride review below:
Better Hardware and More Features
The rear shock absorber on the Yezdi Roadster is expected to be revised for more travel and better damping. Plus a new instrument console with connectivity features can also be in the offing now.
Price And Colours
To round off these slew of changes, we expect the updated Yezdi Roadster to debut with new colour options. Plus, the asking price is also expected to increase. For reference, the Yezdi Roadster is currently priced from ₹2.13 lakh and tops out at ₹2.17 lakh (both ex-showroom prices, Delhi) with the all-chrome variant.
