The latest iteration of the Hyundai Verna gets several features updates over the outgoing model but remains mechanically unchanged.
Hyundai has launched a mid-cycle facelift of the Verna at a starting price of ₹10.98 lakh (ex-showroom). The current-gen model of the Verna was launched in 2023 and continues to rival the likes of Honda City, Skoda Slavia and Volkswagen Virtus. The latest iteration of the Verna gets several cosmetic and feature updates over the outgoing model.
The Verna is offered in six variants — HX2, HX4, HX6, HX6+, HX8 and HX10 with prices starting at ₹10,98,400 and going up to ₹18,25,400 (both prices ex-showroom). The detailed, variant-wise price of the new Verna facelift is given below.
2026 Hyundai Verna Facelift: Updated Exterior
The new Hyundai Verna facelift comes with a sharper exterior and a more commanding stance. This includes a black-chrome radiator grille, dual LED projector headlamps, revised front and rear bumpers and new 16-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels. The Verna continues to be the widest sedan in its segment at 1,765 mm and offers the longest wheelbase of 2,670 mm. The overall length of the sedan stands at 4,565 mm. Further, the new Verna now gets two new colour options — Classy Blue and Titan Grey Matte.

Inside, the cabin shifts toward a more premium, tech-forward layout. The facelifted VERNA features a driver-centric cockpit with a D-cut steering wheel, leatherette upholstery and an electric 8-way adjustable driver’s seat. A headline addition is the dual integrated 10.25-inch displays — billed as the biggest combined infotainment and digital cluster in the segment.

Hyundai’s connected-car suite, Bluelink, now supports more than 70 features, including new remote light controls and Find-My-Car via the surround-view camera. Hyundai also introduces several segment-first features such as a memory function for the driver seat with a welcome feature, an electric walk-in device for the co-driver seat, a rear window sunshade, a dashcam, seven airbags, and a smart trunk with a capacity of over 528 litres. Other novel features include Level 2 ADAS, a Bose eight-speaker sound system, ventilated front seats, and an electric sunroof.

Hyundai hasn’t touched the powertrain of the Verna as the sedan offers the same set of engine options including a 1.5-litre MPi naturally aspirated petrol engine paired with either a 6-speed manual transmission or an IVT automatic, and a 1.5-litre Turbo GDi petrol engine that is available with a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed DCT automatic transmission.
The naturally aspirated unit delivers 114 bhp and 144 Nm of peak torque. The turbo-petrol engine produces 158 bhp and 253 Nm of peak torque, making it one of the most powerful units in the midsize sedan segment. The sedan also offers selectable drive modes — Eco, Normal, and Sport — along with paddle shifters for a more engaging driving experience.
