2026 Mini Countryman C Launched in India at ₹47.50 Lakh

Mini India has officially expanded its portfolio with the launch of the all-new, next-generation Countryman C at an ex-showroom price of ₹47.50 lakh. In a major strategic shift for the British brand, this petrol-powered variant is now designated as a 'Made in India' model, with local assembly officially underway at the BMW Group Plant Chennai. 

Bookings for the premium crossover have formally opened across all authorised Mini India dealerships nationwide, and the company has confirmed that customer vehicle deliveries will commence immediately.

To streamline ownership paths, customised monthly financial solutions, attractive EMI options, and assured buyback packages are being made available through Mini Smart Finance.

The premium crossover arrives with a completely evolved silhouette that boasts commanding proportions, delivering best-in-segment total vehicle height and generous ground clearance. Embodying the brand's latest design philosophy termed 'Charismatic Simplicity', the exterior aesthetics ditch overly complex lines for a purist, streamlined look.

Moving inside, the Countryman C takes a massive technological leap with a completely revised, driver-focused cockpit arrangement. The modern dashboard architecture utilises a specially developed eco-conscious knitting process to form a unique two-tone textile structure. Both the dashboard panels and doors are completely chrome-free, leather-free, and constructed out of premium recycled 2D knitted fabrics.

The centerpiece of this interior environment is a floating, high-resolution 240 mm circular OLED central touchscreen operating via the latest Mini Operating System 9, integrating telephony, navigation, audio, and entertainment into a singular hub.

Premium interior highlights comprise a high-fidelity 12-speaker Harman Kardon premium surround-sound system, an integrated head-up display (HUD), a panoramic glass sunroof, an internal cabin camera, and a versatile Digital Key Plus system.

For occupant comfort, the cabin provides power-adjustable JCW sports seating upholstered in Vescin Vintage Brown, a heated driver’s seat featuring a built-in massage function, and highly practical rear seats that can slide longitudinally up to 130 mm. Storage layout capacity is equally impressive, offering a large 505-litre boot that easily expands up to 1,450 litres when the rear backrests are fully folded down.

The Countryman C gets a 1.5-litre turbo petrol engine that makes 153 bhp of power and a maximum torque rating of 240 Nm, mated to a quick-shifting 7-speed DCT gearbox. Drivers can seamlessly swap driving dynamics via eight distinct modes, ranging from a race-inspired 'Go-Kart Mode' to an eco-focused 'Green Mode', which instantly alter the ambient luminescent lighting, layout graphics, and engine throttle settings.

On the safety front, the vehicle boasts a top-tier five-star Euro NCAP safety rating. The standard protective package includes dynamic stability control (DSC), crash sensors, multi-passenger airbags, an anti-lock braking system (ABS), cornering brake control, and an integrated emergency spare wheel tucked neatly under the load floor.

It also incorporates advanced driver-assist systems including Cruise Control, Level 1 ADAS features, and Parking Assistant Plus with a 360-degree camera.
