Besides a couple of aesthetic upgrades, the Honda Gold Wing Tour has remained the same as before.
The Honda Gold Wing has been around for 50 years. To celebrate this golden jubilee Honda has launched the “50th Anniversary Edition” of the iconic touring motorcycle in India. Priced at ₹39.90 lakh (ex-showroom, Gurugram), it is ₹70,000 more expensive than the last iteration which was launched in 2023 at ₹39.20 lakh (ex-showroom).
The Gold Wing has always been Honda’s crown jewel and the same continues here perfectly amalgamating luxury and features on two wheels. Also for its price tag, this is one of the most expensive Honda motorcycles to go on sale in India, arriving as a Completely Built Unit (CBU).
Being a special edition model, the latest iteration of the Gold Wing Tour will be available in Bordeaux Red Metallic Colour as the only shade. This is quite the disappointment for in international markets the Gold Wing is available with three more shades – Eternal Gold, Mahogany Brown, and Mat Ballistic Black Metallic. However, details like the special Gold Wing emblems with “50th Anniversary”, and “Since 1975” details beneath the control panel on the fuel tank have been retained. Besides that, the overall silhouette, however, remains unchanged, and so has that premium styling.
It continues to be powered by the same 1,833 cc, liquid-cooled, flat-six cylinder engine producing 124.71 bhp/170 Nm. The Gold Wing Tour will continue to be the only model to be available with the 7-speed DCT gearbox as standard.

Honda never cut any corners with its most premium product in terms of features. From an airbag system to a massive 7-inch TFT display that gets more than the basic connectivity features, and also displays a Tyre Pressure Monitoring system, along with a 4-speaker audio system — all have stayed the same. Except for the audio system which Honda says has been improved now.
”Over the past five decades, the Gold Wing platform has evolved into a symbol of class, comfort, and endurance. The 50th Anniversary Edition is a tribute to this unmatched legacy and a celebration of our commitment to engineering excellence for long-distance touring connoisseurs,” concluded Tsutsumu Otani, Managing Director, President & CEO, Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India.
