ACKO Drive Awards 2026: KTM 390 Adventure X Bags the 2026 ADV Motorcycle TOTM

One of the most intensely fought battles of the 2026 TOTMs was in the ADV category, as the nominees couldn’t have been more diverse. From entry-level 210 cc ADV bikes, to an Enduro, to even an electric model for the first time, competition was stiff in this category. These were the nominees for 2026 ADV Motorcycle: 

• Hero XPulse 210
• Kawasaki KLX230
• KTM 390 Enduro R
• KTM 390 Adventure
• KTM 390 Adventure X
• KTM 250 Adventure
• Royal Enfield Scram 440
• Ultraviolette X47 Crossover
• Triumph Scrambler 400 XC
• TVS Apache RTX
• Yezdi Adventure

Barring the Kawasaki and the KTM 250 Adventure, all these bikes were present for the jury round at the BIC track in Noida. The prime contenders were the KTM 390 Adventure X, KTM 390 Adventure, TVS Apache RTX, and Ultraviolette X47 Crossover. Despite its impressive performance, the X47 lost out for the simple fact that touring on an EV bike is still not very feasible, and its pricing is quite premium. The Apache RTX was also a strong contender, but a lack of engine refinement and its iffy quickshifter worked against it.

It was down to the KTM 390 siblings, and after lots of deliberation and several arguments, the KTM 390 Adventure X came on top mainly because it offers all the positives of the 390 Adventure, without breaking the bank. For its performance, handling dynamics, features, and price positioning, the KTM 390 Adventure X emerged as the ADV Bike winner at the TOTMs 2026.
