That makes it ₹12,000 dearer than the previous iteration.
KTM has officially launched the new 390 Adventure X at a brilliant price of ₹3.03 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi), making ₹12,000 more expensive than before. The lack of substantial riding aids was a noted miss that KTM has rectified with this version and it has already begun reaching showrooms a while ago.

The 390 Adventure X and the standard 390 Adventure are virtually the same bikes but for a few differences. Earlier, the price difference between the two was over ₹77,000. And the misses on the X were not substantial. But given the customer feedback the KTM and Bajaj have received on the product, a quick product update has been rolled out.

Hence, now the 390 Adventure X will get the six-axis IMU, three riding modes, and most importantly: cruise control. This will enhance the touring aspect of the bike, something that it is intended for. And with the more spirited engine tune in Off-road riding mode, the 390 Adventure X will not feel quite as calm and collected.

The price difference of ₹65,000 still remains between the 390 Adventure variants, which is quite a lot still. And if you are more keen on dabbling in the off-roading business, then sure the extra premium is going to justify it well. However, if your primary motive is an all-rounder that does daily commutes as well as it does highway touring without getting nervy when the roads disappear, then the X definitely marks the spot.
