2024 Acko Drive Awards: Hero Splendor Was Google’s Most Searched Bike

Commuter motorcycles dominate the Indian motorcycle scene and the Hero Splendor is its undisputed king. Having been on sale for almost close to two decades now, the Hero Splendor has been making private transport accessible since day one. Many bikes have come and gone, but the Hero Splendor continues with staggering sales numbers. Its popularity has not subsided and even in 2024 it was the most searched bike on Google and bagged the coveted 2024 Acko Drive Awards' title for the same. 

The Hero Splendor is currently available in two trims - Splendor+ XTEC and Splendor+. The former is available in just one variant, whereas the latter gets three variants. Eitherway, both the Splendor+ and Splendor+ XTEC are powered by the same, reliable 7.9 bhp/ 8.05 Nm, 97.2 cc engine that it debuted at the start.
