Hyundai’s smallest SUV, the Exter, has won the 2024 Acko Drive Awards' Micro SUV of the Year. The micro SUV is a significant product for Hyundai India as it helped the brand create a stronger hold in the hotly contested sub-₹10 lakh SUV segment.
The Hyundai Exter was launched in India in July 2023 and since then has consistently clocked an average of nearly 8,000 units a month. The Exter is also a feature-loaded model, getting many segment-first features like a dashcam, sunroof, paddle shifters for an automated manual transmission (AMT), fully-digital instrument cluster, six airbags, wireless charger and more.
