ChargeIndia EV Aggregator Launched, Covering 40+ Charging Networks in 1,200+ Cities

ChargeIndia, a new charging aggregator platform, has launched its app on Android and iOS, allowing EV owners to find, use, and pay for EV charging sessions through a single interface. The service includes over 25,000 charging points across 40 network operators at launch time, including Statiq, ChargeMOD and ChargeZone. The chargers are located in over 1,200 cities and towns across India. The company says its app will help users avoid signing up for each network individually, which often involves hassles such as authentication, loading digital wallets, and setting up payment methods. 

The app will show charger pricing and availability based on compatibility with the user’s vehicle. It will also show navigation instructions to reach the chosen location. Route planning based on the locations of suitable chargers is also supported. Charging can be initiated through the app, and payments can be made directly using UPI. Users can also report non-working chargers.

ChargeIndia cites data from the Ministry of Heavy Industries, saying India has 52,718 public charging stations as of July 2026, of which 16,561 are fast-charging units for cars. Many more are expected to go online in the near future. However, access is fragmented and users often need to go through a setup process, remember multiple accounts, and maintain balances in each prepaid wallet, often at inconvenient times. This also means they don’t have a single unified view of their charging history.

As a platform, the company says it is also working with OEMs and stakeholders across the EV ecosystem to enable cross-network charging access from within their own mobility platforms and applications, eliminating the need to build integrations with each CPO individually. ChargeIndia also says it can help CPOs maximise usage and offer all-India roaming. It can also simplify access for fleet operators and give them better visibility into operations.

Commenting on the launch, Devbrat Hariyani, Founder, ChargeIndia, said, “EV charging should work like any other essential service; consumers should be able to use it without having to understand which network sits behind it.” He added “We are creating a neutral platform that allows CPOs (Charging Point Operators) to remain independent. Our ambition is not to own the charging network, but to become the layer that makes different networks work together.”
