2024 Acko Drive Awards: Tata Nexon Was Google’s Most Searched Car

Tata Motors has been setting a whole new different standard with its new design philosophy. Making its cars and SUVs look more premium, the current crop of Tata Motors cars are the best-looking products as of yet. But the Tata Nexon seemed to enjoy the most popular interest amongst all of them as it was the most searched car on Google. Thus winning the coveted 2024 Acko Drive Awards' Google’s Most Searched Car. 

Priced in the range of ₹8.15 - ₹15.60 lakh, the Tata Nexon slots above the Tata Punch and it also marks the entry point to the brand’s luxury vehicles. The last facelift has benefitted the Nexon not just with enhanced looks, but also with several premium features like ventilated seats, fully digital instrument cluster, two-spoke steering wheel with a backlit Tata logo, and much more. Making matters more interesting, Tata Motors also unveiled the Nexon iCNG at the recently concluded Bharat Mobility Expo, and it is the first CNG model in the country to come with a turbocharged engine.

Furthermore, with several trims and variants on offer, Tata Motors has ensured that there is one Nexon for everyone. The Tata Nexon facelift is available with both diesel and petrol engine options. The 118 bhp/ 170 Nm 1.5-litre diesel mill can be had with either 6-speed MT or an AMT unit. Whereas, the 113 bhp/260 Nm 1.2-litre turbo-petrol can be had with a five-speed MT, 6-speed MT, AMT, or a 7-speed DCT.
