From the ₹9.99 lakh Maruti Baleno to the Hyundai Creta King, Level 2 ADAS has moved firmly into mainstream, sub-20-lakh motoring in 2026.
Advanced driver-assistance systems, once the preserve of luxury saloons, have become a genuine mass-market feature in India this year, with at least ten models priced under ₹20 lakh now offering radar-and-camera-based safety suites.
The shift has been driven largely by Maruti Suzuki and Tata Motors extending ADAS down into hatchbacks and compact SUVs, while established players such as Hyundai, Kia, Honda and Mahindra have pushed the technology across more of their line-ups. For buyers, this means functions such as adaptive cruise control, automatic emergency braking and lane-keep assist are no longer tied to flagship trims costing upwards of ₹25 lakh.
Here is a model-by-model look at what is available, which variant you need to pick, and what each costs.
