Apple has just started rolling out the initial wave of artificial intelligence, what it calls Apple Intelligence, on compatible iPhones, iPads, and Mac computers, introducing enhanced Siri functionality and AI-powered writing assistants and now, more AI innovations in Apple Intelligence with iOS 18.2 are arriving next month, says a report by news agency Bloomberg.
Releasing earlier than expected, according to Bloomberg's Mark Gurman, the update would arrive around December 2, assuming development proceeds as planned.

The upcoming release would add significant enhancements to Apple Intelligence, featuring three major additions: integration with ChatGPT technology, a new Image Playground application, and personalised emoji creation through Genmoji.
Apple to introduce additional AI features through its iOS 18.2, iPadOS 18.2, and macOS Sequoia 15.2 updates. These updates will showcase two notable features: Image Playground and Genmoji. Barring any unexpected delays, these updates are anticipated to reach users by December 2.
While current AI features are already making their way to users, the highly anticipated ChatGPT-enhanced version of Siri is scheduled for a later release. Sources suggest this major Siri upgrade will arrive with iOS 18.4, expected in early 2025.
The upcoming iOS 18.2 update would mark a significant expansion of Apple Intelligence beyond its current US English limitation. Users in Australia, Canada, Ireland, New Zealand, South Africa, and the UK are likely to soon gain access to Apple's cutting-edge AI features.
