All-New Mercedes-Benz CLE Revealed

Mercedes-Benz, renowned for its sporty and elegant dream cars, is set to continue its legacy with the introduction of a new and independent series. The Mercedes-Benz CLE Coupe, featuring the conceptual and technical advancements of the Mercedes-Benz C-Class and Mercedes-Benz E-Class, is poised to captivate enthusiasts seeking a blend of expressive design, luxurious comfort, and confident driving performance. With its distinctive characteristics and a market launch scheduled for November in Europe, the Mercedes-Benz CLE Coupe is set to fulfill the desires of customers in the C and E class segments.

The Mercedes-Benz CLE Coupe boasts sporty and modern aesthetics. Its long wheelbase, well-positioned and strongly inclined A-pillar, short front, and slightly elongated rear body overhang, along with pronounced shoulders and large wheels, exemplify the brand's renowned proportions. Featuring a progressively forward-leaning front section, low-slung bonnet, flat LED headlights with a unique design, and a three-dimensional radiator grille, the Mercedes-Benz CLE looks athletic yet elegant. The rear showcases flowing surfaces, smooth transitions, and two-part LED lights with contours and three-dimensional light bodies.

With its dimensions measuring 4,850 mm in length, 1,860 mm in width, and 1,428 mm in height, the Mercedes-Benz CLE stands as the largest coupe in the mid-size segment. Offering significantly more space than the C-Class Coupe, its longer wheelbase provides additional headroom, shoulder, and elbow room, and knee room for rear passengers. The trunk volume has also been expanded, accommodating an additional 60L and comfortably holding three golf bags.

The interior of the Mercedes-Benz CLE is a testament to refined luxury and cutting-edge technology. Features include a free-standing 12.3-inch fully digital instrument display, an 11.9-inch driver-oriented central display in user-friendly portrait format, and dynamic ambient lighting with 64 selectable colours. Additionally, the front seats, exclusively designed for the CLE Coupe, offer sport design and are enhanced by a unique audio experience provided by the optional Burmester 3D surround sound system.

The Mercedes-Benz CLE adopts the latest MBUX generation from the new E-Class, making it the most intelligent coupe in the Mercedes-Benz line-up. With its enhanced electronics architecture and the third-generation MBUX infotainment system, the CLE Coupe delivers an interactive entertainment experience, including third-party apps and automated convenience functions.

All engines in the series feature mild hybrids with an Integrated Starter Generator and a 48-volt electrical system. Customers can choose from a range of engines, including a powerful 3.0-litre straight-six petrol engine. The chassis, lowered by 15 mm as standard, offers sporty and comfortable driving pleasure. Advanced driver assistance systems, such as Attention Assist, Active Brake Assist, Active Lane Keeping Assist, Speed Limit Assist, and a parking package with a reversing camera, provide comprehensive safety support.
