Kia will start taking pre-bookings for the New Kia Seltos from 14 July.
The All-New Kia Seltos is set to spice up the midsize sport utility vehicle (SUV) segment with its unmatched technology and intelligent features. Easily, now it becomes the most tech laden vehicle in the segment. Kia unveiled its latest SUV on 4 July, though the company hasn't revealed the pricing. It will start taking pre-bookings from 14 July.
Designed to meet modern drivers' needs, the Seltos offers a seamless and connected driving experience and advanced safety features that set a new benchmark. Let's explore the cutting-edge technology in the all-new Kia Seltos.
The All-New Seltos enhances safety with its Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) - the same system in the Hyundai Verna, Tucson and Kia EV6. Working with three radars and one windscreen-mounted camera, ADAS provides 17 features for a comprehensive experience. These enhance on-road safety by:
Helping drivers stay in lane (Lane Keeping Assist)
Automatically adjusting speed to maintain distance from the car ahead (Adaptive Cruise Control)
Alerting drivers and applying brakes to avoid collisions (Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist)
Detecting blind spot vehicles and warning drivers (Blind-Spot Collision Warning)
Alerting drivers to approaching vehicles when reversing (Rear Cross-Traffic Collision Warning)
Notifying drivers of speed limits and warning if exceeded (Intelligent Speed Limit Warning)
The All-New Seltos offers extensive connected car features through Kia Connect, setting a new industry benchmark. With 67 smart features, drivers can remotely control and monitor their vehicle. Key features include:
Remotely starting/stopping the engine and controlling climate settings
Tracking the vehicle in real-time and receiving alerts if it enters or exits specified areas
Tracking and immobilising the vehicle if stolen
Quickly connecting with emergency services in an emergency
Accessing information like maintenance reminders and diagnostic reports remotely
The All-New Seltos offers an immersive futuristic infotainment experience with a dual-screen panoramic display and 10.25" HD touchscreen navigation system providing access to navigation, multimedia and vehicle settings. This is the same setup in the Kia EV6 and Hyundai Verna.
Replacing the traditional instrument cluster is a 10.25” full digital cluster with a colour LCD MID display providing information like speed, fuel consumption and navigation.
There is also an all-new 8-speaker Bose sound system and 8-inch head-up display.
