Amara Raja Energy & Mobility Limited on Tuesday reported a 16 per cent year-on-year rise in revenue for the financial year ended 31 March 2026, driven by growth across its automotive, home energy, and new energy divisions, alongside a final dividend of ₹5.2 per share. The Hyderabad-based energy storage and mobility solutions firm posted revenue from operations of ₹13,549 crore in FY26, up from ₹12,405 crore in FY25 which is an increase of ₹1,144 crore, or 9.2 per cent, year-on-year.
Profit before tax (PBT) reached ₹1,307 crore, marginally ahead of the ₹1,299 crore recorded in the prior financial year, representing a rise of approximately 0.6 per cent. Earnings per share for the full year came in at ₹53.02.
In the fourth quarter of FY26, revenue climbed to ₹3,460 crore from ₹2,974 crore in the same period a year earlier, a rise of around 16.3 per cent. Quarterly PBT nearly doubled to ₹433 crore, up from ₹224 crore in Q4 FY25, a surge of approximately 93.3 per cent. On a sequential basis, revenue grew 3.3 per cent from ₹3,351 crore in the December 2025 quarter, while PBT more than doubled from ₹207 crore, a sequential increase of roughly 109.2 per cent.
The company noted that volatility in raw material prices weighed on margins in its lead-acid battery business during the year. Despite this, it pointed to strong momentum in its new energy segment, which recorded approximately 60 per cent revenue growth over the previous year.
Executive Director for Automotive and Industrial Harshavardhana Gourineni said in a statement the automotive business delivered strong performance during FY26, supported by original equipment manufacturer growth of over 20 per cent and steady aftermarket demand. He added that the company's home energy business also recorded robust growth, while lithium solutions for the telecom sector continued to expand steadily.
On new energy initiatives, Executive Director for New Energy Business Vikramadithya Gourineni said the company's Giga Corridor infrastructure, including its R&D centre and qualification plant, is under commissioning and expected to become operational within the next month. He said the company remains on track to commence its first 2 GWh of cell manufacturing by June 2027.
Chairman and Managing Director Jayadev Galla said the company's consistent performance was supported by its leadership in the lead-acid battery segment and growing momentum in new energy businesses. He added that the company's focus on diversification into new products and battery chemistries positions it strongly for future growth in India's energy storage sector.
