The Ampere Magnus electric scooter range has grown with the launch of the new Magnus G Max variant, priced at ₹94,999 (ex-showroom, introductory). The new Ampere Magnus G Max promises a real-world range of 100 km, while the company claims a certified figure of 142 km on a single charge. The company says its new e-scooter focuses on everyday usability, for buyers who prioritise space and a predictable range.

Ampere Magnus G Max: Battery & Range

The new Ampere Magnus G Max is powered by a 3 kWh Lithium Ferro Phosphate (LFP) battery, which promises more longevity and higher charge cycles. The company says its new electric scooter can deliver over 100 km of real-world range in Eco mode, while the charging time between 20-80 per cent stands at 4.5 hours using a home charger. Ampere is also offering a warranty of 5 years/75,000 km on the battery.

Ampere Magnus G Max: Specifications

Powering the Magnus G Max is a hub-mounted electric motor that delivers 1.5 kW (2 bhp) nominal and 2.4 kW (3.2 bhp) peak power output. There are three riding modes - Eco, City, and Reverse. The e-scooter has a top speed of 65 kmph. The electric offering is underpinned by a dual frame chassis and gets 165 mm of ground clearance, enough to tackle Indian roads. The Magnus G Max also offers 33 litres of under-seat storage, making it one of the most spacious in the segment.

Ampere Magnus G Max: Features

The suspension setup comprises telescopic forks at the front and dual shock absorbers at the rear. The feature stack includes all-LED lighting, a USB charging port, a 3.5-inch LCD console, and optional connected features. The Ampere Magnus G Max will be available in three colours - Monsoon Blue, Matcha Green, and Cinnamon Copper - all with a dual-tone finish.

Ampere Magnus G Max: Rivals

The new Ampere Magnus G Max is positioned above the Magnus G Grand in the company’s lineup. The model has a tonne of competition in the segment from the TVS iQube, TVS Orbiter, Vida VX2, and the new Bajaj Chetak C25 Series.
