While details about the new Magnus Neo are still under wraps, it is expected to feature a bigger battery and more features.
After catering to the premium family electric scooter buyer in 2024 with the Nexus, Ampere is readying to launch a new version of its affordable Magnus e-scooter, called the Magnus Neo. It will be the third variant after the EX and LT variants, which cost ₹75,000 and ₹80,000 (both ex-showroom, Delhi), respectively. While Ampere has not mentioned if this will be a higher-spec trim, the teaser does state that the Magnus Neo will represent the “Power of More,” which could hint towards the same.
The Magnus EX and LT are powered by a 2.29 kWh and 1.8 kWh battery respectively. The upcoming Magnus Neo might share the bigger 3 kWh battery from the Ampere Nexus. Along with that, the new 7-inch TFT console might also make its way here, to the new scooter.
Just like the Nexus, Ampere is also attempting to break another India Book of Records with the Magnus Neo by covering a 2,200+ long journey from Bengaluru to Delhi. The Nexus attempted the same stint, but from Kashmir to Kanyakumari you can read all about it here. We rode the Nexus and found it to be a pretty good step up from the brand.
