Ather 450 Apex: Booking, Features, and Launch Details Unveiled

Ather Energy has disclosed crucial information about the upcoming Ather 450 Apex electric scooter. Along with that, prospective buyers can secure a booking with a refundable deposit of ₹ 2,500. Deliveries are scheduled to begin in March 2024.

An addition to the Ather 450 Apex is the Warp+ riding mode. It is anticipated to offer faster acceleration than the existing Warp mode in the 450X. The scooter is also expected to feature multi-level regen braking, as hinted in a teaser. Transparent panels as a returning feature, have been confirmed.

The Ather 450 Apex is projected to share a 3.7 kWh capacity battery pack with the 450X, but with different tuning for enhanced performance. Potential features include cruise control and at least single-channel ABS.

With an expected price of around ₹ 1.60 lakh (ex-showroom Bengaluru, including FAME 2 subsidy), the Ather 450 Apex is slated to launch towards the end of December 2023. Competing with the Ola S1 Pro, Simple One, and TVS X, the Ather 450 Apex aims to make its mark in the competitive electric scooter market.
