Ather Energy has 9 experience centres and six service centres in the neighbouring country.

Ather Energy has expanded its portfolio in the Nepalese market with the introduction of the Rizta. The brand’s first family electric scooter will be sold across 9 experience centres and 6 service centres in India’s neighbouring country and has been priced at 3.83 lakh Nepalese rupee.

The Ather Rizta is quite the practical scooter and is now currently spearheading the brand’s sales in the country. It comes with the 3.7 kWh battery pack which is good for a claimed range of 151 km on a single charge. The battery powers a 4.3 kW electric motor that produces 22 Nm that is good enough to accelerate from 0-40 kmph in 4.7 seconds. However, there are just two ride modes on offer here – Zip and Smart Eco, and the top speed is capped off at 80 kmph.

Being a family electric scooter, the Ather Rizta gets one of the largest seat in the business. Plus, it scores full marks on practicality with a massive 34-litres of underseat storage space, and with 22-litre of additional space, courtesy of a frunk pouch. As for its features, the Rizta gets a 7-inch TFT console that supports Google Maps, music controls, call/SMS alerts and much more. Ather is also offering its proprietary software package, AtherStack Pro, as an accessory with the Rizta in Nepal that gets you features like Skid Control, FallSafe, Theft and Tow alerts, Live Location sharing, etc. However, the additional premium for the same has not been revealed.

"With the launch of the Rizta, we are tapping into a new segment of family buyers who prioritise comfort and convenience in their everyday rides. We are hoping to see the same strong response for the Rizta as we’ve seen for the 450 series," concluded Ravneet Singh Phokela, Chief Business Officer, Ather Energy Limited.
