This time the panels will be fully transparent not just translucent
Ather Energy is set to introduce a new model in its electric scooter lineup, tentatively named the Series 2. CEO Tarun Mehta has hinted at this development through his twitter handle, revealing that the upcoming scooter will feature fully transparent body panels.

In 2020, Ather introduced a unique Collector's Edition for early adopters of the 450X Series 1, featuring translucent panels in a black paint scheme with red highlights.

Details about whether the Ather Series 2 will retain the same motor, hardware, design, battery, and features as the current 450 lineup remain unclear. Ather's existing lineup comprises the 450S, 450X (2.9kWh), and the flagship 450X (3.7kWh), with the 450S being the most affordable model and the 450X (3.7kWh) standing as the flagship offering.

Despite the introduction of the Series 2, it is speculated that the 450S will continue to be available, given its recent launch and its role as the entry-level option for prospective Ather buyers. However, the same cannot be guaranteed for the 450X.
