In a bid to revolutionise vehicle protection for Indian motorists, Audi India on Friday unveiled its latest automotive security solution -- a sophisticated dash cam system priced at ₹68,000. The premium recording device is now available across all Audi model variants and offers both retrofit installation for current owners and factory integration for new vehicle purchases.
The newly launched surveillance system represents a major leap forward in automotive safety technology, featuring crystal-clear QHD video recording capabilities coupled with intelligent motion sensing technology. The device operates through a user-friendly mobile app compatible with both iOS and Android platforms, ensuring seamless connectivity for modern users.
This advanced security solution functions as a round-the-clock guardian for vehicles, whether owners are navigating busy urban streets or have parked their cars unattended.
The system automatically captures high-quality footage during incidents, creating valuable documentation for insurance purposes and protecting against fraudulent claims or hit-and-run scenarios.
The dash cam system operates through two distinct protection protocols designed to address different security scenarios.
Incident recording mode: The device automatically initiates recording when it detects collisions or significant impacts, ensuring critical moments are captured without manual intervention.
Parking surveillance mode: When the vehicle is stationary, the system activates upon detecting movement or suspicious activity around the parked car, providing continuous security monitoring.
All recorded footage is securely stored on an integrated SD card within the device, with convenient access available through the companion mobile application. This streamlined approach ensures users can quickly retrieve and share important video evidence when needed.
The Audi dash cam system is immediately available at authorised Audi India dealerships throughout the country. Current Audi owners can schedule installation appointments during regular maintenance visits, while prospective buyers have the option to include the system as part of their new vehicle configuration.
