The starting price of the Q7 facelift is exactly the same as the outgoing model.
Audi India has launched the Q7 facelift in India at ₹88.66 lakh* and it is available in two variants – Premium Plus and Technology. This is the second facelift for the full-size luxury SUV from Audi and it made its global debut earlier this year. The new Q7 will be assembled at the brand’s Aurangabad plant. Bookings began earlier this month for a token amount of ₹2 lakh.
The second facelift for the Q7 gets a few cosmetic changes like matrix LED headlamps, new LED taillamps, redesigned grille, front & rear bumpers as well as refreshed air intakes. The Q7 will come in five exterior colours – Sakhir Gold, Waitomo Blue, Mythos Black, Samurai Grey and Glacier White.
Inside, the Q7 facelift remains largely unchanged with the same three-screen layout as before. However, the infotainment touchscreen now allows users to download third-party apps. The virtual cockpit instrument cluster shows more driver-assist functions like lane-change warnings, distance alerts and more. The Q7 facelift will get two interior colours – Cedar Brown and Saiga Beige.
Mechanically, the Q7 remains unchanged as it continues to come with a 3.0-litre turbo-petrol V6 engine churning out 335 bhp and 500 Nm, mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission and Quattro all-wheel drive system. For comparison, the outgoing version was priced between ₹88.66 - 96.34 lakh*, while the new facelift is priced between ₹88.66 - 97.81 lakh*. While the starting price is the same, the top-end price has gone up by ₹1.47 lakh. It rivals the likes of Mercedes-Benz GLS (₹1.32 - 1.37 crore*), BMW X7 (₹1.30 - 1.34 crore*), Land Rover Discovery (₹ 97 lakh - 1.43 crore*) and Volvo XC90 (₹1.01 crore*).
